I was riding home one day in 1993, mulling over a very
unsatisfactory encounter with "partner" in travel and I was
thinking that I really didn't want to work with him anymore.
We no longer had the same vision of our company. And as I was
driving, the name CLASS ACT Cruises and Tours came to me.
That's when I knew I would open my own travel agency.
In May 1993 I started CLASS ACT Cruises and Tours, from my
dining room with a very old computer. I knew I could give
better service than the agencies I had been working with and
decided I would concentrate on cruises and escorted tours.
Most of my clients preferred individual tours so in Sept. 2001
I changed our name to CLASS ACT VACATIONS to reflect more
closely the types of vacations we were arranging. Since then
I have become a SCOTSmaster and we are developing our
Destination Wedding and Honeymoon markets.
