Let us
transport you to another world! Romantic Scotland
|

 |
From the moment you arrive
in Glasgow (or Edinburgh) be ready to whisked away to the
Highlands with our knowledgeable but unobtrusive driver/guide.
Fully attired in kilt and sgian dubh, he will show you the
Western Highlands of Scotland on this wonderful trip. The tour
starts with the romantic setting of Loch Lomond, where you will
spend a wee while gazing into the rippling waters of this world
famous bonnie loch - come and see your true love - at Lomondside!
We then head through forests, mountains and glens of Argyll and
stop for lunch. A chance to sample the famous seafood from the
loch, followed by (weather permitting) a wee sail in your very
own rowing boat! Whisper sweet nothings to your loved one while
gently bobbing on this beautiful sea loch. We reluctantly leave
and head north further along the loch to visit a stunning
Scottish castle. Check into your traditional Scottish hotel,
stone floors, wooden panels and beams, roaring fires! Your room
will feature a four poster bed, double jacuzzi and magnificent
furnishings – you really are in the Scottish Highlands. Dinner
tonight at the hotel.
Day two: after a lazy
morning and full Scottish breakfast we head north to discover
the tragic Glencoe – discover magic scenery as we tour the west
coast region of Argyll and Lorn – the ancient Celtic lands of
Dalriada. We stop in Oban for lunch and enjoy a seafood special
- local catches impeccably fresh to your table - Ee-Usk sits on
the water's edge in the very heart of Oban with views across to
the Isle of Mull. We complete the afternoon with a leisurely
drive to an area of ancient Celtic history. Steeped in a world
with over 5000 years of history - and the highlight of the whole
tour: renew your wedding vows in a scenic glen. An ancient
Celtic wedding ceremony where the wrapping of clasped hands with
an embroidered cloth symbolises the binding together in
marriage. We then drive back to the hotel for drinks and dinner.
Day three:
your last day - we return via Loch Lomond and
continue east through the beautiful scenic Trossachs, stopping
for lunch at the village of Kilmahog. Think of a whole baked
Trossach's trout, a fillet of Scottish Salmon or homemade beef
steak & real ale pie, then again: tender premium Scottish beef,
cooked how you like it. Plenty of time to while away the
afternoon with after dinner drinks, before setting off for
Glasgow and the completion of your tour.
